2006: DeVera went 5-4 in dual matches at No. 6 singles and was 13-11 overall in 2006... Reached the second round of the Pac-10 Invitational... Went 14-3 at the No. 3 position in doubles dual matches with Amanda Fink and was ranked #54 with Anca Anastasiu with a 5-2 record... Was 24-8 overall in doubles play... Her No. 6 singles match against VCU in the NCAA Tournament Round of 16 was suspended... Won three doubles matches at No. 3 position with Fink in the NCAA Tournament (fourth was suspended)... Received Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention... Posted a 5-4 record during the fall… Advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA Western Regional Championships and competed in the Fall Desert Classic.

2005: DeVera played in the No. 6 singles position… Went 10-14 overall in singles, 7-7 in dual matches and 2-1 against Pac-10 opponents… Put together a five-match win streak in January and February… Played doubles primarily with Dianne Matias at the No. 3 position…The pair went 11-2 overall, 10-1 in dual matches… Also played dual matches with Carine Vermeulen (2-1) in the NCAA Tournament... Went 2-5 during the fall at the ITA Regionals and Fall Desert Classic... Received Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention.

2004: DeVera played primarily at No. 5 singles (8-5) and No. 3 doubles... Played six matches at No. 4 singles (5-1)... Went 18-12 overall in singles, 13-6 in dual matches and 5-6 against Pac-10 opponents... Missed three matches in early February due to a severely sprained ankle suffered against UCLA on Jan. 30... Put together a four-match win streak in March... Did not compete at the Pac-10 Tournament and did not play singles in the NCAA Tournament matches due to a wrist injury... Played most doubles matches with partner Bernadette Bayani... The pair compiled a team-best 11-2 overall and dual match record... Also paired with Melissa Esmero (7-5), Dianne Matias (5-1) and Erica Sauer (0-2)... Went 5-4 in singles during the fall... Advanced to the consolation finals of the Palm Springs Fall Desert Classic... In doubles, reached the final of the Desert Classic with Melissa Esmero and advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA West Regional with Dianne Matias.

HIGH SCHOOL: DeVera graduated from Carson (Calif.) High... Played four years on varsity at No. 1 and 2 singles and doubles... Played No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles with USC teammate Dianne Matias as a senior... A three-time Los Angeles Times All-South Bay first team selection (2000, 2001, 2002)... Named the 2001 Los Angeles Times Player of the Year after guiding Carson to its second straight L.A. City Section team title... Went unbeaten as a junior and became the first player from Carson to capture the singles title at the city section individual tournament... Named a Fox Sports/Arco Scholar Athlete in 2001... Earned the SCTA Evelyn Houseman Lifetime Sportsmanship Award and the Rochester Math and Science Award... Won the 2000 Easter Bowl U16 singles championship and reached the doubles final with Matias... Also reached the singles final at the 2003 Ojai Girls’ U18 doubles with Matias... Won the Southern California U16 singles sectional championship and the girls’ U18 doubles title (with USC teammate Lindsey Nelson) in 2000... The pair also advanced to the final in 2001... Captured the 2003 Pomona ITA Singles Championship and reached the singles and doubles final at the Ventura ITA Championship.
