This Season: Judy DeVera enters her final season at USC... Ranked No. 57 with Amanda Fink in the ITA preseason doubles rankings... Went 5-3 in singles during the fall and 7-4 in doubles, reaching the ITA West Regional doubles semifinals with Fink and playing one match with Anca Anastasiu (0-1).

2006: DeVera went 5-4 in dual matches at No. 6 singles and was 13-11 overall in 2006... Reached the second round of the Pac-10 Invitational... Went 14-3 at the No. 3 position in doubles dual matches with Amanda Fink and was ranked #54 with Anca Anastasiu with a 5-2 record... Was 24-8 overall in doubles play... Named the 2001 Los Angeles Times Player of the Year after guiding Carson to its second straight L.A. City Section team title... Went unbeaten as a junior and became the first player from Carson to capture the singles title at the city section individual tournament... Named a Fox Sports/Arco Scholar Athlete in 2001... Earned the SCTA Evelyn Houseman Lifetime Sportsmanship Award and the Rochester Math and Science Award... Won the 2000 Easter Bowl U16 singles championship and reached the doubles final with Matias... Also reached the singles final at the 2003 Ojai Girls’ U18 doubles with Matias... Won the Southern California U16 singles sectional championship and the girls’ U18 doubles title (with USC teammate Lindsey Nelson) in 2000... The pair also advanced to the final in 2001...
