2001 SEASON:
As the No. 7/8 player on the roster, Christian played seven singles matches throughout the season... With two wins at the Rolex regionals she qualified for the main draw and fell in the first round to Cintia Tortorella of Pepperdine (6-1, 6-2)... With big wins over Anna Pearson of Washington and Sekita Grant of Cal, Christian advanced to the semifinals of the Pac-10 Indoor Championships... She posted a 4-3 overall record in singles and 3-2 mark against Pac-10 opponents... Christian played six doubles matches, posting a 3-2 record with Krissy Hamilton-Heinberg and a 1-0 mark with Anita Loyola.
2000 SEASON:
Christian was a reserve during the 1999-2000 season, playing eighth in the lineup ... She played three singles matches, including two in dual match play at No. 5 ... Accumulated a 1-2 overall record (1-1 dual matches) in singles ... Playing 10 matches in doubles, she recorded a 1-4 record with Veronika Safarova, an 0-2 mark with Krissy Hamilton-Heinberg and a 1-2 record with Jewel Peterson.
1999 SEASON:
Christian was a reserve as a 1999 freshman who posted a 6-7 overall record ... She went 6-5 in dual matches, all at the No. 6 position ... Christian saw more action in doubles and was 7-9 overall and 7-7 in dual matches ... She mainly played with Jacqui Boyd, and the pair went 7-6 overall.
PREP EXPERIENCE:
Christian was a member of the TC Rot Weiss Neu-Isenburg club team in Germany from 1996-98 ... She was named the Athlete of the Year in 1995, by her home town, Frankfurt, Germany ... She was a finalist at the prestigious 16-and-under Orange Bowl tournament ... Caroline played on the German Junior National Team from 1993-95 ... With the team, she won the under-13 European Championship in 1993 ... She was the NTT World Youth Champion (Japan) in 1994.
