THIS SEASON: Gabriela Niculescu enters her second season of competition at USC ranked No. 67 in the ITA preseason singles rankings and is No. 23 in doubles with Maria Sanchez and No. 31 with Amanda Fink... During the fall, went 6-3 in singles and 6-1 in doubles... Reached the ITA Regionals Round of 16 and won all three singles matches at the Duals in the Desert... In doubles, went 5-0 with Maria Sanchez to win the ITA Regionals Doubles Championship. 2008: Niculescu won the Pac-10 Doubles Championship with Amanda Fink... Named an ITA All-American in doubles after reaching the NCAA Doubles Quarterfinals... Selected West Region's ITA Player to Watch... Also reached the Pac-10 Singles Quarterfinals and the NCAA Singles Round of 32... Finished with a 31-12 overall singles record and was 20-7 in dual match play, going 1-1 at No. 2, 10-3 at No. 3 and 9-3 at No. 4...
