The No. 23 Tulsa men's tennis team earned the top seed at the 2013 Conference USA Men's Tennis Championship as the league announced the bracket today. The four-day event, which will be hosted by Memphis, is set for April 18-21 and will be played at the Dunavant-Wellford Tennis Center on U of M's campus.
The Golden Hurricane will play at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 19, against the winner of the tournament’s only first round contest between No. 8-seed UCF and No. 9-seed East Carolina. The winner will move on to the semifinals, which will take place at noon on Saturday, April 20. The Conference USA champion will be crowned after the finals on Sunday, April 21, which are set to begin at noon.
Tulsa has won the past two Conference USA Championships and six of the past seven C-USA titles. This also marks the seventh time TU has been the top seed at the tournament.
