JUNIOR (2001-02) – Posted the second-most single-season wins during her first season at Tulsa with a 31-11 singles record . . . her 31 victories tied former Hurricane two-time All-American Anousjka van Exel (1997-99) for second on TU's single-season win list for singles players . . . posted a 19-4 dual record, including 13-3 at the top singles position and 6-1 at the No. 2 slot . . . named the 2002 ITA Central Region Player to Watch and was selected to the all-WAC first team in singles and to the all-conference doubles second team . . . selected to compete in the NCAA Singles Championships, becoming just the second player in school history to be picked . . . advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament with a first round, 6-3, 6-2, victory over Erica Perkins of Washington State . . . fell to No. 7 Agata Cioroch of Georgia in the second round . . . concluded the season as the top-ranked singles player in the Central Region and, with partner Jana Sedivec, was ranked as the seventh-best doubles team in the region . . . broke into the national rankings at No. 109 on December 11 . . . completed the season ranked No. 72 . . . won 11 of her final 12 singles matches of the season . . . defeated 12th-ranked Sarah Borwell of Houston, 3-6, 6-2, 6-3, in her biggest upset of the season . . . named the WAC Tennis Player of the Week on April 1 . . . teamed with Sedivec to chalk up a 17-8 doubles record at the top slot . . . the duo had a 14-8 dual mark and was ranked as high as No. 51 nationally . . . recorded a 12-4 singles mark and a 6-4 doubles record during the fall campaign . . . won four straight singles matches, including a 6-2, 3-6, 7-5 win over #56 Alena Jecminkova of Kansas State, before falling in the semifinals of the Central Region Championships . . . won seven of her last eight singles contests to conclude the fall campaign.
