The Lady Warhawks had a great past 7 days winning all three of their matches.

Last Wednesday the ladies swept UW-Oshkosh 9-0 and Wisconsin Lutheran 9-0 without dropping more than 3 games in any of the 18 individual matches. Eleven Warhawks were able to compete in the varsity lineup that day.  For details and photos of last Wednesday matches go to http://www.uwwsports.com/news/2009/9/30/WTEN_0930092640.aspx?path=wten   

Yesterday-Tuesday, the team was supposed to send two separate varsity squads to UW-Steven’s Point and Lawrence. Due to inclement weather the Lawrence match was cancelled, but since the UWSP match was a conference match, indoor backup was secured for that match. The Warhawks were able to go into Sentry World in Steven’s Point and get out with a 7-2 win. For details on this match go to http://www.uwwsports.com/news/2009/10/6/WTEN_1006094731.aspx?path=wten 

The Lady Hawks are now 9-0 overall, and 4-0 in conference play. This weekend the team will travel west to La Crosse to take on the Eagles at 3:00pm on Friday. They then head to Eau Claire to take on the Blue Golds at 9:30am followed by a match against Edgewood on the Eau Claire Campus.
