Ingrid Stensvaag was honored at halftime of tonight’s Warhawk Basketball game for her achievements reaching Academic All-American status. Ingrid was the first woman in Warhawk Women’s history to be honored as such. She has a 3.95 GPA, has been involved in several community service ventures here at UWW. She was involved in the free middle-school tennis program, and received a grant for undergraduate research already. Playing #1 and #2 singles and doubles for three seasons after transferring from a D-1 program, Ingrid has played an integral role in UWW recent success in the three consecutive WIAC titles and consecutive trips to the NCAA tournament.
Thank you Ingrid for all you do on and off the court, and CONGRATULATIONS!!! You are a tremendous example of what a student athlete should aspire to be.
