Hello Warhawk Tennis fans we had about 50 people (including the team) attend the annual Women’s Alumni and Friends Event this past weekend. It was particularly well attended by recent Alumni, so if you missed it this year, be sure to clear this same weekend next year. We will probably have it on March 5th next season.
In addition to the Alumni, many supporters of the program showed up to play along with the Alumni and current team. It was a great mix of people as we pitted Alumni and Friends against the current team sometimes and other times we paired our guest up with a current player as a partner. Either way-tons of fun. After the tennis we all headed over to Cozumel for a terrific meal in town.
This coming weekend both the men and the women will be traveling together. We will be taking on Gustavus and Sioux Falls in St Peter, MN on Friday and Saturday. The Gustavus matches look to be thrillers as the teams are only separated by a few spots in the rankings for both men and women. Sioux Falls has a strong NAIA program, so the action will be good all weekend!
