Green posted a 4-7 singles record and a 4-3 doubles record in his collegiate debut in the fall.

Mike was the winner of the 1999 Texas Open National tournament and the 2001 Florida Sectional Doubles Championships... He was a member of Team Florida 2002 in the annual Mills-Redgrave Tournament, an event featuring the top three players in each age division in Florida versus the top three players in each age division for the USTA Southern Section... Green helped Florida win the event for the first time in seven years.... He has been ranked as high as No. 4 in Florida and No. 18 nationally in his age group... Ranked 38th in the last USTA boys ranking... Mike was a finalist at the 2003 Pompano Beach Florida Men’s Open, the 2002 November Florida Designated, 2002 July Florida Designated, and the 1999 Florida Sectional Championships... He was a Consolation Finalist and Sportsmanship Winner at the 2000 Gator Bowl National tournament.

Mike was a member of the 1997 State Finalist Little League baseball team from Fort Pierce, Fla... He is also experienced in Karate... Mike has one brother, Courtlan, who currently plays Arena football for the Rochester Brigades and was the ECAC Upstate New York Player of the Year in 2000 at Stony Brook.... Mike plans to major in graphic design and enjoys creating web sites... He said he chose to attend the University of Alabama because of the athletic tradition, coaching staff at Alabama and level of competition in the SEC... He began playing tennis at age 10... Green was born on September 2, 1984 in Stony Brook, New York.... Mike is the son of Tanya Green.
