Scouting Report:
Sammy Struyf has developed into one of Alabama’s key players since his arrival last January. Struyf is an all-around talent and has earned himself two ATP points after playing in a futures event in his home country of Belgium. He is an all-court player with a good serve and aggressive forehand. He likes to attack in transition and has shown the ability to play with the nation’s elite. At the UVA Fall Invitational he took a commanding 4-0 first set lead on the No. 6-ranked Doug Stewart and Pate feels Struyf can play anywhere in the line-up for the Tide.  This fall has proved to be instrumental in Struyf’s development.
