2002-2003 (Junior): Brodersen's 27 singles wins made him the first player since Francisco Rodriguez in 1999 to record back-to-back 20-win seasons... he clinched four matches for the Crimson Tide in 2003 and helped his team with singles wins in SEC victories over Mississippi State, South Carolina, Georgia and LSU...  He also earned the teams academic award at the annual banquet with a 3.36 GPA...

2001-2002 (Sophomore): Christian won 21 of 26 singles matches   (.808 pct.) in the 2001-2002 season placing him ninth in single season winning percentage...  He was voted Most Valuable Player by his teammates at the annual awards banquet... Brodersen also won 10 straight matches to end the season, including a 9-0 SEC mark...  In addition to his on-court performance, Christian was also an Academic All-SEC team member...

2000-2001 (Freshman): Played singles for the Crimson Tide, mainly in the No. 6 position...  Biggest win came in the deciding match versus Ole Miss, beating Patrick Chucri in three sets, clinching the Tide's upset of the ninth-ranked Rebels...  Went 3-0 in the 2001 SEC tournament helping the Tide reach the semifinals...

Brodersen graduated from Palmer Academy in Tampa, Fla. in June, 2000...  was awarded the first valedictorian of Palmer Academy... Won the St. Pete tournament in 1997, the Halloween Bowl at Cheval in 1998 and the Water is Clear Championship in Clearwater, Fla. in 1999...

Brodersen was born in Oslo, Norway and lived there until he was four... moved to Denmark at age four and to Germany at age eight, where he lived until coming to the United States at age 16...  Brodersen's parents are Danish and he is a citizen of Denmark... Father and mother both work for N.A.T.O. ...He is a double-major in international finance and German with minor in Economics...  Parents are Christian and Hanne Brodersen...  Born January 12, 1981... Began playing tennis at age 11...
