Fall of 2004 Ranked No. 32 in the ITA Preseason Singles poll and was No. 49 in the ITA preseason doubles poll with newcomer Greg Ouellette…Went 3-2 in singles play and 6-1 in doubles with partner Greg Ouellette…The two won four matches on their way to the championship round of the ITA Southeast Regional where they came up short against LSU's Mark Growcott and Ken Skupski, 8-5.

AS A SOPHMORE IN 2003-2004 A Second-Team All-SEC selection…Finished the season ranked 68th in the final edition of the ITA singles poll…Finished 16-10 in singles play and went 10-7 in the No. 2 position…Owned a 6-4 record in dual matches against SEC opponents…Defeated five ranked foes in singles play, which was the third highest total on the team…Made his way to the top of the singles lineup for the first time in his collegiate career against Furman and came away with a 6-4, 6-3 win over John Chesworth…Split time with Vladimir Obradovic and Martin Stiegwardt as doubles partners and went 5-4 and 8-5 with the two in dual match play, respectively…SEC Academic honor roll member.

Advanced to the semifinals of the National Indoor Collegiate Championships in Ann Arbor, Mich., before dropping a match to 20th-ranked Jeremy Wurtzman of Ohio State (6-2,6-2)... Went 2-2 against ranked opponents in the fall with wins over No.78 Michael Rubin (Michigan) and No.14 Robert Searle (Rice)... Holmia squared off against opening round at the indoor championships and won the match 6-0,6-2 ... After dropping the first set to Searle, 2-6, Holmia bounced back to take the quarterfinal match at the indoor championships with a 6-3 second set and 6-1 third.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2002-2003 Became one of Florida 's 15 different All-American 's with an impressive first season in Gainesville ... Named the ITA National Rookie of the Year ... Spent the majority of the year as the nation 's top-ranked freshman in singles and finished the season ranked No.6 in the nation ... Was honored as the program 's first recipient of the SEC 's Freshman of the Year Award since it was first presented during the 2000 season and was a First Team All-SEC selection ... In his initial year, Holmia posted a 19-5 dual match record and went 9-1 against SEC opponents ... It was his win over 75th-ranked Jose Zahri of Texas (6-1,6-7 (4),6-4)in the NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Tournament Round of 16 to provide the Gators a 4-3 margin on which they advanced to the quarterfinal round…Posted 34 singles victories, tied for the fifth-best single season win total in school history, and highest ever for a freshman ...
