As a Senior:
Fall: With teammate Colin Purcell, won the Wilson/ITA Southeast Regional Doubles Championships...advanced to quarterfinals of the Southern Intercollegiates...earned wild card spot, then fought through consolation bracket to advance to semifinals of the All-American Championships.
As a Junior:
Spring: Posted 12-13 dual match record, going 4-7 in the conference...23-17 record overall...played Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6 spots, going 3-4, 5-5,4-3, 0-1 respectively...held a four-match winning streak early in the season...posted 23-11 record with Colin Purcell in doubles...16-9 at No. 2, 1-0 at No. 1...duo was 6-2 against ranked opponents.
Fall: 10-3 singles record...began the year with nine consecutive victories, including four straight over nationally-ranked opponents...streak spanned the Napa Valley Challenge and Southern Intercollegiate Championships...made the finals of the Southern Intercollegiates before being forced to pull out with back spasms...6-2 doubles record with partner Colin Purcell...duo began the season with three consecutive victories...2-1 record vs. ranked doubles teams.
As a Sophomore
Spring: Posted 15-6 dual-match record, including a 6-4 mark in conference play...26-13 overall record...won his final four matches of the spring and was unbeaten in 13 of his last 15 matches (10 wins, three suspensions)...had a seven-match unbeaten streak during the season...played primarily at No. 4 and 5...was 5-0 in seven-point tiebreaks...clinched victories against William & Mary, Mississippi State and Texas (NCAA second round)...second Bulldog to reach 25 singles wins in 2003-04 season...played doubles at No. 2 and 3 but teamed with Matias Ormaza at No. 2 in the latter part of the spring for a 6-8 record...went 2-2 at No. 3 with Ricardo Gonzalez. Fall: Recorded 11 singles victories during the fall...after losing his first three matches, won eight of his next 10 matches, including four straight to reach the finals of the 2003 Georgia Tech Fall Classic in Atlanta...reached the Round of 16 at both the Southern Intercollegiate Championships in Athens and the ITA Southeast Championship in Memphis...finished the fall by winning three straight...earned the first national ranking of his career, standing at No. 100 in the first ITA spring ranking.
As a Freshman
Spring: Posted a 9-15 singles record during the spring...played primarily No. 5 singles during the season but played as high as No. 2 at the USTA/ITA National Team Indoor Championship...recorded a 4-7 record against SEC foes and an 8-12 record in dual match play...clinched the Bulldogs’ win against Auburn with a straight-set win at No. 5...went 1-1 in singles in his first action as a Bulldog at the 2003 SEC Coaches’ Indoor Championships...posted a 7-13 doubles record with three different teammates, but played primarily with freshman Raian Luchici during the latter part of the season...joined the squad in January.
Juniors:
Aquinas College...played top three singles positions, including No. 1 his last two years...lead Aquinas to the 2002 Corr Cup, which goes to the winner of the West Australian Private Schools Association Team Championship...also served as team captain...won the 2001 Malaysian International Junior Championship...2001 16-under Australian Hardcourt champion...2000 16-under Australian Grasscourt doubles champion...participated in the Group A main draw at the 2002 Junior Australian Open...competed in the 2001 18-under Linton Cup and the 2000-01 16-under Reid Cup...finished fourth at the 1999 14-under Australian Masters Final...also played basketball and Aussie Rules football at Aquinas...recipient of the 2000-01 Western Australian Institute of Sport Scholarship and the 2000-01 Tennis West High Performance Scholarship...won the Chamberlain Perpetual Trophy in 1999 for being the best first-year player and the Robinson Trophy from 1999-2000 which recognizes the First Tennis Champion.
