2002-03:
• Won Futures doubles titles with Southern Cal’s Nick Rainey over the summer at Fresno, Auburn and Berkeley, all in California; reached the singles quarterfinal at Fresno
• Built up his ATP point total to 52 over the summer
• Earned a No. 25 ITA fall singles ranking and a No. 44 doubles ranking with Phil Stolt
• Finalist in the ITA Midwest Regional singles tournament, but could not compete against Stolt due to a hamstring injury suffered in his semifinal win over teammate Michael Calkins
• Reached doubles quarterfinals with former Illini Graydon Oliver at the Wright Financial Group/USTA Chal-lenger at the UI Atkins Tennis Center
2001-02:
• Posted a 31-9 singles record playing at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots
• Teamed with classmate Philip Stolt to go 21-6 in doubles; was 24-8 overall
• Earned All-Big Ten honors
• Named Illinois' Most Improved Player
• Top singles win came against No. 15 Brandon Wagner of Georgia
• Ranked as high as No. 39 in singles nationally
• Earned a berth in the 64-draw NCAA Singles tournament
2000-01:
• Posted a 7-7 singles record
• Teamed with classmate Philip Stolt to go 9-3 in doubles
• Competed against teammates Graydon Oliver and Amer Delic in the ITA Region IV doubles finals
• Had one victory against a ranked opponent, No. 82 Marcus Pavlovich of East Tennessee State
• Had a productive post-freshman summer, winning the Seminole USTA Futures doubles title with former Illini Jeff Laski and qualifying with four singles wins at the Tampa Futures; he picked up 26 ATP points overall; also made main singles draw and reached doubles semifinals at Godfrey (Ill.) Futures event; reached Round of 16 at Decatur, Ill. Futures tourney
