Fall 2011>> Went 7-10 during the fall season in singles play, but ended the fall winning five of his last seven matches ... Posted two wins in the Southern Intercollegiate singles draw and four wins in the Bulldog Scramble in Athens ... Won both of his matches by straight sets in Hawaii at the Rainbow Warrior Challenge ... Dropped both his singles matches in the SEC Coaches' Indoors, losing to William Kallberg - who eventually defeated the tournament's top seed - in the first round, and Kyle Koch - who lost in the consolation finals - in the consolation draw ... Outstanding fall in doubles action, going 11-6 with fellow sophomore Ryuji Hirooka ... The duo won the Southern Intercollegiate Division II doubles title, while also advancing to the quarterfinals of the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Indoor Championships.
Spring 2011>> Competed in singles in six dual matches, posting a 5-1 record with all wins coming in straight sets ... Played at No. 1 singles against Cumberlands (Ky.), earning a win ... Also secured wins in singles action against Morehead State, Butler, Cleveland State and Toledo ... Went 2-0 in doubles action on the season, teaming up with Alejandro Gomez to defeat a doubles tandem from Murray State and Toledo.
Pre-College>> Four-star recruit according to the Tennis Recruiting Network ... Considered one of the top tennis players of his class in the state of Kentucky ... Played high school tennis at Kentucky Country Day in Louisville, Ky., while he played club tennis at Springhurst Tennis Club under coach Ylia Jelali ... Was a All-State honoree in high school as well as a Regional Champion.
