Fall 2002: Went 3-3 in singles, splitting his matches at the Middle Tennessee tournament to open the season...Lost to Louisville’s Paulo Carvalho, 6-4, 7-6 (5) at the ITA All-American qualifier...Went 2-1 at the Omni Hotels Region III Indoor Championships, opening with a three-set win over Matt Emery from Kentucky (4-6, 6-2, 6-2)...Went on to post a second three-set win over another SEC foe when he beat Florida’s Troy Hahn, 6-7 (1), 6-3, 6-2...Was eliminated from the tournament by Miami’s Todd Widom, 6-3, 7-6 (8)...Began the season ranked No. 29 in the country in doubles with teammate Ben Stapp...The duo won the doubles title at Middle Tennessee after the Ole Miss team of Ciorascu/Gard defaulted the finals...Played doubles at the ITA All-American qualifier, falling in the first round to Washington’s Strasberg/Vlaski, 8-6, before recovering to win 8-5 over the Minnesota team of Hauger/Ticer...Also played in the All-American main draw doubles, winning their opening round match against the Alabama team of Belski/Mitchell, 8-5...Were eliminated from the all-american by the team of Endrikat/Morton from UC-Irvine, 8-4...Advanced all the way to the finals of the Omni Hotels Region III Indoor Championships, defeating doubles teams from UCF, LSU and two doubles teams from Alabama before falling to Alabama’s Hixcox/Mitchell, 8-5, in the championship game...Were selected as alternates to the Omni Hotels National Indoor Championships...Teamed with Tennessee’s Wade Orr to win the doubles portion of the ITA National Summer Championships in Bloomington, Ind., Aug. 12th....Walker and Orr, the No. 2 seed in the men’s doubles draw, downed the No. 4 seeded team of Drew Hoskins and Pete Stroer of Texas, 8-4, in the final. The duo also defeated teams from West Virginia and New Mexico in earlier rounds...Walker also participated in the singles portion of the tournament, winning his first two matches before falling to eventual runner-up Chris Martin from the University of Illinois in the round of 16. Prior to the loss to Martin, Walker eliminated the No. 4 seed in the second round.

Spring 2002: Went 14-7 in singles, including a 14-6 mark at No .4 during the spring...His longest winning streak of the season was a five-match win streak, during which Memphis was 5-0....Teamed with Ben Stapp in doubles to post an 18-7 mark at No. 1...The duo finished the season ranked among the top doubles teams in the nation at No. 54.

Spring 2001: Played at Clemson University...In singles, played at #4, #5 and #6 positions as a freshman...Posted a 14-18 record in singles play...Played mostly at #3 doubles posting a record of 14-19...Earned Academic All-ACC honors...Walker was undefeated at the conference tournament with a 7-0 record on a team that was the ACC Runner-up.
