Prep: Loup played his prep tennis at Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana...He won the 2006 Louisiana High School Athletic Association singles title as a senior, helping his Catholic team to a Division I - Class 5A Runner-up finish...Was a three-year captain of his prep team...Was named the Catholic MVP as a sophomore, junior and senior and was a Louisiana High School Star of Stars in 2006...Loup was a four-star recruit according to TennisRecruiting.net...That same website has him listed as the No. 2 senior in the State of Louisiana...Loup won the Louisiana State Closed Junior Qualifying Tournament in June of 2006 and is currently ranked No. 31 on the USTA Southern Boys 18 Closed Endorsement List...Carries a 33-19 record in USTA Junior Circuit play...Advanced to the consolation quarterfinals of the Bullfrog USTA Southern Section Designated tournament in April of 2006...Also appeared in the finals of the Louisiana Spring State Championships in March of 2006, falling in three sets in the finals to Charlie Jones...Went 4-0 in 14-18s STA Bullfrog Jr Davis/Fed Cup in September of 2005...Was also coached by Johnny Wahlborg.
