BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Three Hoosiers have advanced the semifinals of the large singles flights at the UNF Fall Invitational, two reaching the semis in the A Draw and one in the B Draw. Indiana is represented in the Doubles A Draw finals as well with Leslie Hureau and Myriam Sopel winning their first three matches of the weekend.
The two newest Hoosiers, Hureau and Evgeniya Vertesheva continued to make an instant impact in their second weekend donning the Cream and Crimson, each moving themselves into the semifinals of the Singles A Draw. On the flip side, Indiana's longest-tenured player and lone senior Lindsey Stuckey has completed the same feat in the Singles B Draw.
Each singles semifinals contest is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. Sunday morning with the finals to follow at approximately 11:30 a.m.
As previously mentioned, the IU doubles tandem of Hureau and Sopel have an opportunity to not only take home the doubles flight title but also improve to an undefeated 7-0 on the season. They will face Troy's Kelly Irving and Lauren Simpson for the flight championship on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
