JUNIOR (FALL 2003): Opened the fall with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Purdue’s Catie McLevish at the St. Mary’s Fall Classic...Posted two wins at the SEC Coaches Fall Classic, defeating Arkansas’ Anna Dybicz, 7-5, 7-5, and Auburn’s Erin Gray, 6-2, 7-5...Finished the fall with a 3-6 record in singles...Teamed up with classmate Claudia Farace to defeat the pair of Torres and Barry from N.C. State, 8-4, at St. Mary’s...Downed Louisville’s tandem of Eber and Mekus, 8-6, to reach the doubles consolation semifinals at the adidas Collegiate Invitational...Notched another win over South Carolina’s George and Walsh at the SEC Fall Classic...Cohn and Farace compiled a 3-7 record during the fall.

 

SOPHOMORE (2002-03): Finished 2-4 in singles during the season with wins against Maggie Donohue of Notre Dame at the adidas Invitational and Jennifer Hodge of Georgia at the SEC Coaches Tournament…Played every doubles match with Farace, compiling a 3-5 record…Their first victory came against the Donohue sisters of Notre Dame during the adidas Tournament…Also picked up one win at the St. Mary’s Fall Classic and the June Stewart Invitational...Recognized on the Lady Vol Honor Roll for her strong work in the classroom.

 

FRESHMAN (2001-02): Saw her only singles action of the year during the fall at the St. Mary’s Fall Classic in Knoxville…Finished with a 1-2 record in singles…Her victory came against Landis Strader of N.C. State, 6-2, 6-7(3), 6-4…She teamed up with Farace for doubles play at the Southern Intercollegiate in November…The pair won two matches over Coleman and Whistenhunt of Wofford and Fitzpatrick and Zalinski of Western Carolina…Cohn and Farace ended the season with a 2-1 doubles record…Cohn’s academic success landed her a spot on the Lady Vol Honor Roll.

 

HIGH SCHOOL:  A two-sport athlete, Cohn earned varsity letters in tennis and basketball…She advanced to regionals in doubles in 1998…Captained the basketball team on her way to being the region’s top scorer…Also ranked in the top five in assists and steals.
