CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

 

SOPHOMORE (Fall 2005): Won both the second-flight doubles title and fourth-flight singles title at the Furman Fall Classic...With Blakeley Griffith, defeated Furman's Laura Giola and Jacqueline Eckert, 8-4, to clinch the championship...Took care of Furman's Shannon Moore, 6-0, 6-4, to win her singles flight...The duo finished fourth in first-flight doubles at the St. Mary's Classic, losing their first match against North Carolina State's Barbara Orlay and Alejandra Guerra in a tiebreaker, 9-8...After defeating Kentucky's Kim Coventry and Joelle Schwenk, 8-7, fell to Ashlee Davis and Alexandra Hirsch of Wake Forest, 8-1...The two losses would prove to be the duo's only defeats of the fall season...Took home a third-place finish in third-flight singles at the St. Mary's Classic, defeating Wake Forest's Sierra Poska, 6-3, 6-1...Finished with a 5-3 record in singles for the fall season.

FRESHMAN (2004-05): Went on a streak of seven consecutive dual meet wins at the No. 3 singles position, defeating all seven opponents in straight sets...Picked up her first singles win over a ranked opponent when she defeated No. 95 Elizabeth Exon of Michigan, 6-3, 7-5...Finished the season with a 17-19 singles record...Went 9-3 in doubles while paired with Blakeley Griffith...With Sabita Maharaj as a partner, the tandem defeated two top-25 opponents back-to-back...They toppled Texas' No. 18 Katie Ruckert and Kendra Strohm, 8-6, then stunned Ole Miss' No. 24 Chloe Carlotti and Virginia Tomatis two days later, 9-7, to clinch the doubles point in an exciting 4-3 Tennessee win...Marable teamed with Melissa Schaub at the St. Mary's Fall Classic and earned a dramatic 8-6 victory in the flight two final after the duo trailed 4-1 and 6-4...Advanced to the final in flight two before falling to teammate Victoria Jones, 6-1, 6-4...At the Women's College Tennis Invitational, Marable and Schaub fell to the fourth-rated doubles pair in the country, North Carolina's Aniela Mojzis and Kendall Cline, by an 8-2 score.
