JUNIOR (FALL 2008): Finished tied for second on the team in singles wins during the 2008 fall campaign, notching a 7-3 record...Did not drop a single set en route to the sixth flight singles title at the Furman Fall Classic, defeating opponents from Vanderbilt, Furman and Florida State...Advanced to the Round of 32 at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships before recording a pair of victories at the SEC Fal Coaches' Classic...Put together a 7-4 slate in doubles play, going 4-2 with Natalie Pluskota, 2-1 with Rosalía Alda and 1-1 with Caitlin Whoriskey...She and Whoriskey were seeded as the top doubles team in the ITA regional tournament where they reached the Round of 16...Joined forces with Alda for the final competition of the season, tallying a 2-1 record at the SEC Fall Coaches' Classic.
SOPHOMORE (2007-08): Named Co-MVP of the Lady Vol tennis team with Caitlin Whoriskey...Earned a spot on the 2008 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll...Finished the season with a 16-10 singles record and 25-13 mark in doubles play...Split time between five different singles positions, amassing a combined 10-10 record in dual matches...Clinched wins over No. 12 North Carolina (Jan. 21) and Hawai'i (March 18)...Was 12-9 from the No. 1 doubles position and 11-7 against nationally-ranked competition when paired with Caitlin Whoriskey...The tandem finished the season as the No. 16-ranked team in the country after earning an at-large bid to compete in the NCAA Championships...Following a strong fall campaign, Zubor earned a No. 95 singles ranking and formed half of the No. 2-ranked doubles team in the nation with Whoriskey...The duo also earned the top ranking in the Southeast Region after blowing by its competition in the fall, to the tune of a 13-3 record, including seven victories over ranked opponents...The Big Orange unit put itself on the map at the Riviera/ITA All-America Championship in October, claiming seven wins in the week-long competition, with three in qualifying action and four in the main draw...While in Pacific Palisades, Calif., Whoriskey and Zubor defeated the top teams from four different conferences, including the Big Ten, Southeastern Conference, Pac-10 and Atlantic Coast Conference...The tandem also took down the then-No. 2, No. 3, No. 4, No. 7, No. 35 and No. 54-ranked pairings in the country en route to the doubles title...Whoriskey and Zubor competed at the ITA Indoor National Championships as well, picking up an 8-2 victory over Anna Karaveyeva and Maria Klokotzky of Fresno Pacific...Zubor was also perfect in singles play during the fall, compiling a 6-0 record...Earned the flight six title at the St. Mary's Classic with a trio of straight-set triumphs...Followed up that performance with a fourth flight championship two weeks later at the Furman Fall Classic.
FRESHMAN (2006-07): Contributed greatly to the Lady Vol cause during her rookie campaign, tallying a 20-10 singles record and a team-best 26-15 doubles mark...Amassed a 10-6 dual-match record, playing primarily at the sixth spot in the lineup...Went 15-5 when teamed with Blakeley Griffith in doubles play...Also had success with Caitlin Whoriskey, as the duo posted an 8-4 record, including a 5-2 mark from the No. 1 doubles position...The duo earned the Lady Vols' first doubles victory over a ranked opponent on the season with a 9-7 win against the No. 5-ranked Kentucky tandem of Joelle Schwenk and Kim Coventry on April 1...Also defeated the 10th-rated pairing of Darya Ivanov and Yvette Hyndman of Georgia on April 14...Closed the season strong, winning seven of her final 10 singles contests...Picked up a 6-4, 6-1 victory over Alice Tunaru of Alabama in the first round of the SEC Tournament...Also helped the Lady Vols advance to the NCAA Tournament Second Round with a dominating, 6-1, 6-0 triumph over Tulsa's Marta Marcinkowska...Zubor continued to the NCAA Individual Championships in Athens, Ga., to compete in the doubles draw with Whoriskey...The No. 28-ranked freshman combo advanced to the Round of 16 with a 6-4, 6-3 triumph over No. 39 Tinesta Rowe and Melanie Gloria of Fresno State, before dropping a 6-2, 6-4 decision to the fourth-rated duo of Ana Cetnik and Anna Sydorska of TCU...Completed her initial fall campaign at Tennessee with a 10-4 singles mark, as well as a 7-2 record in doubles...Earned victories in her first four singles matches at the St. Mary's Classic and Furman Fall Classic...Combined efforts with Blakeley Griffith at the ITA Southeast Regional, as the duo went 3-1 before bowing out in the quarterfinals...Also claimed a pair of singles wins at the SEC Coaches Classic.
HIGH SCHOOL: First Hungarian to compete in any sport for the Lady Volunteers...Has seen her name posted high on the list of the Hungarian national rankings, reaching as high as 17th overall and second in juniors...Finished second at the National Hungarian Women's Championships in the summer of 2007...Claimed the doubles national championship in 2001, while playing with Agnes Szavay...In 2004 and 2005, advanced to the age-group 18 national semifinals...Was honored by the Hungarian government as the National Good Athlete and Good Student in 2003...Served as a member of the Hungarian national tennis team at the European Championships on five occasions dating back to 2001.
