SOPHOMORE (FALL 2008): Tallied a 4-5 singles record during her first competitive semester at Tennesseee...Claimed a straight-set victory over Kateryna Yergina from Virginia Commonwealth in her UT debut at the University of Virginia Invitational...Closed out the fall campaign strong, winning four of her final five contests, including two at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships in Winston-Salem, N.C., Oct. 23-27...Also put together a 10-5 mark in doubles play during the fall season...Joined forces with Caitlin Whoriskey to record three victories at the UVa Invitational...The duo, which earned a No. 33 national ranking in the ITA preseason poll, traveled to the ITA All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif., from Oct. 1-3...Although it dropped its opening contest to the No. 36-ranked UCLA duo of Yasmin Shnack and Ashley Joelson, the UT tandem rallied to win three straight, including two over ranked squads, before bowing out in the final match of the qualifying doubles consolation draw...Sorbello then paired up with Rosalía Alda for the ITA Southeast Regional Championships...The duo won its first three contests, taking out squads from North Carolina, Duke and Furman before being ousted in the quarterfinals by the Tar Heel duo of Sanaz Marand and Sophie Grabinski, 8-9. 

FRESHMAN (2007-08): Did not compete during her rookie campaign while serving a year of residency...Was able to practice with the team but did not participate in any match play. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Ranked No. 1 in Queensland for U-18 girls...Earned all-Australian honors at the 2006 Pizzey Cup in Queensland for the third consecutive year (2004-06), becoming the first person to do so since the tournament was created in 1978...Her Queensland squad also earned the team championship in 2005 and 2006...Helped lead the St. Margaret's Anglican Girls School to a National School Team Championships title in both 2005 and 2006 as well...Was instrumental in the team's victories in both years, winning all of her matches from the top position in the singles lineup.
