Farias helped his prep squad qualify for regional competition in all four years he was there... played in the number one singles spot as a senior and finished with a 10-2 record... won the district championship as a freshman.

Farias is the son of Armando and Rebecca Farias... has one brother, Bobby, and one sister, Ana... was born on Jan. 25, 1987... majoring in pre-med biology.
