Juniors/High School: Transferred to Washington from Insa Toulouse in France where he was a teammate of fellow newcomer Jean-Noel Insausti......attended high school at Lycee Bellevue...quarterfinalist at the 2005 World University Games...three-time quarterfinalist at the French Championships (1997, 1999, 2000)...advanced to the semifinals of Lille in 1999 and the quarterfinals of La Boulle in 1998.

Personal: Pierre Metenier...parents are Dominique and Alaine...brothers Francais (28) and Olivier (15), and sister Sophie (26)...hobbies include sports, music and going to movies.
