Dominated Darrin Cohen of then No. 1 Virginia, 6-0, 6-1 at sixth position in a narrow Rams’ loss (1/25)... Went 3-1 in singles during the Blue-Gray Classic in Montgomery, Ala., including a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Notre Dame’s Patrick Buchanan in the championship match (3/19)... After dropping the first set, ripped off 6-1 and 6-3 wins in the final two to rally past Ned Samuelson of No. 4 in a 4-3 VCU victory (3/29)... Won both of his singles contests in the Rams’ victorious run through the CAA Tournament. 2005/FRESHMAN: Registered an outstanding 16-5 overall record this spring, including a 13-4 mark on the number-six court ...
