GENERAL ... Joined the VCU men’s tennis program at the beginning of the 2005 spring semester ... 2005-06/SOPHOMORE : Opened the spring season with six straight singles wins… Finished with a 10-4 record in singles play, as well as a 14-8 doubles mark… Teamed with Emil Lindgren to stage a rally from a 7-1 deficit at third doubles to clinch the doubles point in VCU’s CAA Championship match with Old Dominion (4/23)… Won all three doubles stints in that CAA Tournament… Provided a 6-2, 3-6, 10-6 victory over No. 8 Baylor’s Jon Reckewey at sixth position (2/5)… Helped the Rams defeat No. 54 SMU with his 6-0, 6-3 pasting of Oivind Alver at fifth singles (3/5)… Teamed with Arnaud Lecloerec to reach the round of 16 of the Mideast Regionals doubles draw with an 8-5 win over Furman’s Ben Pauluhn and Andy Sobczyk (10/20). 2005/FRESHMAN ... Finished the regular season with a 5-10 overall mark ... Went 1-2 against regional competition ... Missed the last few games of the season after spraining his ankle in the North Carolina match ...
