Named the ACC Flight Champion for No. 6 Singles, after putting together a league-best 5-2 record in No. 6 ACC matches … 21-15 overall record in singles play, including a 6-2 conference record and a 13-8 mark in dual matches … played at least one match in every position … came from behind to beat Bartosz Koldej in three sets to seal the ACC Championship quarterfinal win over No. 62 Florida State … put together a 17-17 mark in doubles play, going 8-9 with Mike Murray and 5-4 with Andrew Simpson … teamed up with David Berè to beat Andres Pedroso and Alex Bose 8-3 in the ACC Championship semifinal loss to No. 3 Duke and then topped Alex Menichini and Alex Krohn 8-4 in the NCAA Championship first round loss to No. 23 Fresno State ... compiled a 7-6 singles record and 7-4 doubles mark in fall play ... won three straight at ITA Region II Championships with partner Mike Murray, before falling in doubles semifinals ... ranked 40th nationally with Murray in national doubles rankings and sixth regionally in 2001 preseason polls
