Michael Fenwick enters his third season assisting the Western Illinois tennis program.

After serving as an undergraduate assistant in the 2005-06 season, Fenwick graduated from Western Illinois in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in recreation, park and tourism administration from Western Illinois.

Prior to his time at Western, Fenwick was a teaching tennis professional in his native Dixon, Ill.

Fenwick attended Quincy University in 2004-05, splitting time at No. 4 and No. 5 singles and holding down the No. 1 doubles position. In 2001-02, Fenwick competed for Sauk Valley Community College and in the 2002-03 season he competed at Illinois Valley Community College, helping the team earn a final NJCAA national ranking of No. 24.
