 Jo Wagstaff
The dean of Whitworth's athletic coaches, Jo Ann Wagstaff is in her 29th season as coach of the women's tennis program in 2012-13.

In addition to her coaching duties, Wagstaff is the Associate Director of Athletics and Senior Women's Administrator at Whitworth.  She oversees the operating budget for the entire department.

During her career as the head coach at Whitworth, Wagstaff has accumulated a dual match record of 306-212. In addition, she has led the Pirates to five Northwest Conference titles, including three in a row from 2009-11, as well as 1991 and 1997. Her 2008, 2003 and 1992 squads finished as conference runners-up. Whitworth appeared in the NCAA Division III tournaments in 2009 and 2010.

Wagstaff was named conference Coach of the Year in 2009 and 1991 and NAIA District 1 Coach of the Year in 1987.

Wagstaff is a 1977 graduate of Washington State University, where she played #1 singles as a junior and senior on the Cougar varsity team. After college Wagstaff has been ranked as high as #4 in Pacific Northwest for 35 and over singles and #1 in PNW in 35's mixed doubles with her husband Bill.
