Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University men’s and women’s tennis home matches versus Coker College scheduled for Friday, March 9 have been postponed, Wingate head coach Michael Cabana announces this morning. The Bulldogs and the Cobras will play Saturday, April 14 at 11 a.m.

Next for both Bulldog teams are home South Atlantic Conference matches against Lincoln Memorial University on Saturday, March 17. In conjunction with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), the Wingate men’s and women’s tennis teams are hosting Campus Kids’ Day the same day.

The Wingate Campus Kids’ Day will begin at 11 a.m. with a free clinic, complete with games and stations geared to children and teenagers. At 12 noon, participants will receive lunch, courtesy of Chick-fil-A of Monroe and Jersey Mike’s Subs of Monroe. The SAC tennis doubleheader will begin at 1 p.m.
