Ohio State Career 2000-01 (Freshman) Bohane joined the team in January 2001, immediately stepping into the No. 3 spot ... enthusiastic nature provided a spark for his teammates in one of OSU’s best campaigns to date ... compiled a 24-10 record and landed big wins to help the Buckeyes to victory, including a 6-1, 6-1 upset of No. 59 Phil Stolt of Illinois in the Big Ten tournament final ... defeated VCU’s Fernando Sanchez in his first NCAA appearance, 6-3, 2-6, 7-6, to help the Buckeyes to a 4-3 win ... posted an 8-3 campaign in the Big Ten with two of those losses coming in three sets.

Palm Beach Lakes High School Bohane did not play tennis for Palm Beach Lakes High School … was a fixture in the junior circuit in Florida and was consistently ranked in the Top 5 from 1995-00 … also was ranked as high as the Top 20 in the nation … in 1998, defeated Andy Roddick, the then-No.1 player in the world junior rankings, in the finals of the Panama Bowl Championship … in August 2000, finished in the Top 16 at the Super National Outdoor Championships in Kalamazoo, Mich., and reached the semifinals of the National Indoor Championships.
