Juan Nunez
Juan Nunez is at the start of his fourth season as an assistant coach for the ACU men's and women's tennis programs following a stellar four-year playing career with the Wildcats.
Nunez enjoyed the majority of his success in doubles action where he compiled a 69-27 career record over four years. A four-time all-Lone Star Conference selection, he was honored as the conference’s Freshman of the Year in 2006 and made first team all-conference in 2008 and 2009.
As a senior in October 2008, Nunez teamed with Ryan Hudson to win the Intercollegiate Tennis Association NCAA Division II South Central Region doubles championship, and the duo went on to finish fourth at the Small College National Championships.
An experienced international player before he enrolled at ACU, Nunez ranked in the top four in Mexico in Boys 16s singles, and he ranked in the top 50 in Mexico's pro rankings.
