HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - The Allegheny women's tennis team fell to Macalester, 6-3, in its first day of Spring Break action.
Janna Dickerson, Alyssa Tom and Deb Landau claimed points for the Gators at fourth, fifth and sixth singles, respectively.
Dickerson defeated Abby Citrin, 6-1, 6-1, while Tom was victorious over Becky Schneider, 4-6, 6-2, 10-5. At sixths, Landau won over Kelli Crescenti, 6-1, 6-3.
Allegheny will be in action again on Monday when it takes on Nebraska Wesleyan at 8 a.m.
