MEADVILLE, Pa. - The Allegheny women's tennis team fell 9-0 to non-division foe Denison during Saturday's Senior Day festivities at the Robertson Tennis Complex.

At first singles, the Big Red's Kristin Cobb defeated Allegheny's Lauren Kristofco, 6-1, 6-4. In the day's closest match, Sarah Short of Denison handled Gator freshman Alyssa Tom, 6-3, 6-3, at fourth singles.

The Gators (10-8, 1-1) will play their next match on Sunday when they host Kenyon at 2 p.m. If rain forces the action inside, the North Coast Athletic Conference East Division match will take place at noon at the Pennbriar Athletic Club in Erie, Pa.
