In the last home match up of the season, the No. 22 Arizona State Sun Devils (15-4; 5-4 Pac-12) will welcome the University of Arizona to Tempe, Ariz., for Senior Day, on Saturday afternoon at the Whiteman Tennis Center.
In the final Pac-12 regular season match, Arizona State will honor their three seniors for the countless hours of dedication and commitment to the program. Their highlights include trips to the NCAA Championships, representing the United States in international play and recovering from surgeries that could have terminated their careers.
Coach McInerney and the team will look put a halt to a four-math losing streak that has left the Sun Devils without a win in the past two weeks. The team is currently in fifth place in the Pac-12 standings with a conference record of 5-4.
The University of Arizona enters the match in second to last place in the Pac-12 with a conference standing of 1-8. The Wildcats are 9-13 overall, ranked No. 67 nationally, and is riding a five game losing streak that begun in late March.
Saturday's match will count towards the State Farm Territorial Cup, the annual rivalry that pits both the University of Arizona and Arizona State against each other across the board in all collegiate sports. The series is currently tied at 5.5.
Senior Day festivities will begin about 15 minutes prior to the match, with doubles play starting at 1:00 p.m.
