Gumulya, Rompies Eliminated at ITA Carolina Regional Championships
CHAPEL HILL, NC - Clemson’s doubles tandem of Beatrice Gumulya and Jessy Rompies was eliminated from the ITA Carolina Regional Tennis Doubles Championships in the semifinal round on Monday in Chapel Hill, NC. Gumulya and Rompies fell to Jamie Loeb and Hayley Carter of North Carolina, 8-4.

Gumulya, Rompies Still Alive at ITA Carolina Regional Championships
CHAPEL HILL, NC - Beatrice Gumulya and Jessy Rompies have advanced to Monday’s semifinal round of the 2013 ITA Carolina Regional Doubles Championships in Chapel Hill, NC. The Tigers sent three players to the singles quarterfinals as well, including semifinal appearances from Gumulya and junior Yana Koroleva.

Yana Koroleva Named ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year
Rising junior All-American Yana Koroleva was named the ACC’s 2013 Women’s Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year in heading up the sport’s All-Academic Team as announced on Tuesday by Commissioner John Swofford.

Clemson to Play Host to ITA Kickoff Weekend in 2014
CLEMSON, SC - The Clemson women’s tennis team was chosen as one of 15 national host sites for the 2014 ITA Kickoff Weekend, held Jan. 24-26, 2014. The Tigers were chosen as a host site by virtue of their No. 13 ranking in the final polls.
