 Jeff Benito
 Jeff Benito came to Cypress in May 2007 to take over his first collegiate head coaching job after five seasons at conference rival Riverside City College. At Riverside, Benito served as the Tigers’ men’s and women’s assistant coach. While at Riverside, he was part of the staff that kept the women’s program’s success on track while turning around the men’s program earning a conference championship in 2006 and two top ten finishes in 2006 and 2007 with the men's program and three top 15 finishes from 2005-2007 with the women's program.  Concurrently Benito also served as a Teaching Professional at Canyon Crest Country Club and the prestigious Victoria Club of Riverside training some of the best juniors in the area.  Benito also headed up the Jr. Team Tennis league for all of the Inland Empire that had participation of over 300 tennis players. 

Benito played at Riverside while earning his associates degree before moving on to the University of La Verne to earn his bachelors in Movement and Sport Science, and then to California Baptist University where he earned his masters in Kinesiology.
