Just hours after achieving the highest ranking in program history the No. 7 ranked Florida State men's tennis team dominated the No. 61-ranked Clemson Tigers 7-0 Tuesday evening at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center.
"Last year we were right there, but we just weren't getting over the hump," FSU head coach Dwayne Hultquist said. "I thought they did a great job of having that killer instinct and finishing matches off."
"We're very confident and excited about where we are," FSU player Brad Mixson said. "We know our toughest matches are still to come and we didn't take Clemson lightly and we took care of them."
