General Info: One of the quickest players on the team • A great fighter that has been a tough out for opponents • Solid doubles player that fit into the top of the Tech doubles lineup during the 2003 dual-match season • Joined the Yellow Jacket roster after playing two seasons at Louisiana-Lafayette • Was one of the top performers for the Ragin’ Cajuns while in Lafayette.

2002-03:  Emerged as a solid contributor for Tech in the middle of the singles lineup before suffering a stress fracture in his left leg that forced him to miss seven of the final eight dual matches of the year • Had won three-straight singles matches prior to that, including a dramatic three-set win over North Carolina’s Daniel Pinchbeck (7-6 (7), 1-6, 6-2) at No. 3 to help clinch the win for the Jackets • Also downed Indiana’s Petr Novotny in straight sets, 7-6 (7), 6-4, to help Tech to a 5-2 win over the 21st-ranked Hoosiers • Finished with a 9-3 record in dual-match singles play and a 14-7 overall mark in 2003 • Seven of his nine dual-match wins came while playing in the No. 3 spot in the lineup • Held an impressive 5-1 record on the year in three-set matches • Was 12-8 in doubles action, with seven of those wins coming while teamed with Joao Menano • The tandem won four-straight matches midway through the spring, including an 8-3 win over Miami’s Luis Manrique and John Hoyes on March 6.

2001-02 (at Louisiana-Lafayette):  Played at or near the top of the Louisiana-Lafayette lineup for much of the dual-match season • Continued to struggle with injuries during the year • Finished with a 3-9 singles record on the year • Was also 3-4 in doubles competition on the year.

2000-01 (at Louisiana-Lafayette):  Struggled through injuries as a freshman, but played well enough to garner second-team All-Louisiana honors • Finished with a 13-10 record in singles play and a 14-5 overall doubles record • Was second on the team in singles wins and led the team in doubles victories • Ranked as high as 87th in the ITA national poll • Ended the season on a seven-match win streak in doubles, including consecutive wins over the nationally-ranked doubles team of Oliver Foreman and Robert Gustafsson.

High School/Junior Tennis: Attended Westville Boys’ High • Lettered in track, tennis, baseball and soccer during his prep career • Ranked No. 120 in the International Tennis Federation singles rankings • Was also No. 106 in doubles play in the Federation rankings • Ranked No. 2 in South Africa singles and No. 1 in South Africa doubles.
