High School/Junior Tennis: Earned one letter, playing No. 1 singles, in two seasons under coach Sylvia Krause at Horlick High • Achieved a women’s open ranking of 73 and girls’ 18-under national ranking of 83 • Was a member of the high honor roll at Horlick four consecutive years • First team all-county and all-state player as well as the scholar athlete for the Racine Journal Times.
