Took flight C consolation title at Bulldog Classic, defeating players from Pacific, SCU, and Nevada... captured flight B doubles championship with wins over opponents from SCU and USF... was forced to sit out remainder of season due to an injured shoulder... 2002-03... Went 1-1 as a freshman at No. 5 singles and 2-4 at No. 6... had a tournament record of 2-5 and a total record of 4-10... posted an overall doubles record of 3-4...

A 2002 graduate of Kealakehe High School in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii... earned the 2002 state doubles championship... ranked No. 2 in Hawaii... was a four-year varsity letter-winner...played the No. 1 position... served as team captain as a senior... finished as the state runner-up in doubles competition in 2001... voted team MVP and earned the Coaches' Award as a junior and senior... played two years of basketball, earning a varsity letter... earned All-BIIF Big Island Interscholastic Federation four times... a member of the National Honor Society who graduated with a 3.8 GPA... coached by Jayme Depontes.
