Loyola Marymount University - Facilities
The Loyola Marymount University Tennis Center has gone under a major face-lift the past three years and those enhancements continued this fall as a brand new scoreboard has been installed within the Tennis Center. The state-of-the-art Daktronics scoreboard continues major improvement projects that started almost three years ago with the addition of the Tournament Court.

The long-awaited sixth tennis court, the critical tournament court for the Loyola Marymount University Tennis Center was finished in December of 2003. The final court gives LMU a full six court facility that is home to one of the top programs on the West Coast.

Construction of the sixth court was due to a $50,000 gift from A.G. [BusAdmin '72] and Kathleen Kading. The tournament court is named in honor of the Kading's fathers Morris A. Pivaroff and George P. Kading.

Continuing that project was the addition of the crimson-colored scoreboard at the end of the six courts. Featuring set scoring for each court and overall event scoring, the scoreboard features red LEDs that are 15 inches in height and can be seen throughout the athletics complex. Each court score is controlled by wireless devices station at each court.

Improvements will continue prior to the start of dual competition this spring with court resurfacing and new windscreen along the fencing.
