 Barbaros Ozdogan

Barbaros Ozdogan was appointed the Head Coach of Mercy College men's tennis team in the summer of 2001. Prior to Mercy College, Barbaros was a member of the Baruch College tennis team that was coached by Florin Giuglescu (Former trainer of Yannick Noah). Their team won the CUNY Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Championship first time since 1980. Barbaros played number 2 and won the singles and doubles titles. At the end of the season he was awarded MVP of the year 2000.

Between 1993 and 1996 he managed a leading German tennis camp in Turkey. In 1995 Barbaros received advanced coaching training from Detlev J. Irmler (Former trainer of German Davis Cup team) in Mallorca, Spain. In 1996 he attended coaching program that was led by Bob Brett (Former trainer of Boris Becker and Goran Ivanisevic). Barbaros Ozdogan is a PTR certified tennis coach. He received his MBA from Baruch College and he is a full time faculty member in the Internet Business Systems program.
