Once again could not escape the injury bug as a redshirt junior ... Served as a dynamic on-court motivator when MSU lost its assistant coach before the dual match season ... Managed to record a 3-1 singles record and a 3-0 mark in doubles ... Teamed up Joseph McWilliams for two of those doubles victories and Chris Mitchell for the other.
2002-03:
Recorded career-highs in victories with a 5-5 singles record and 6-3 doubles mark ... Went 3-1 at the Minnesota Invitational with all four matches needing a third set ... Defeated Valparaiso and Xavier during the spring dual match season ... Achieved a 2-0 record with both Mike Jonckheere and Goran Topalo in doubles.
2001-02: Redshirted after suffering from another injury-plagued year, but managed a 1-3 singles record and an 0-2 doubles record, all in fall tournament action ... Picked up his only win of the season at the Big Ten Singles 7-8 tournament.
2000-01: Collected a 2-11 singles record with both wins stemming from dual matches ... In doubles, teamed with Jason Chen for a 3-0 mark while picking up one win against Valparaiso with Mike Hodge.
Pre-MSU: Was named All-League, All-District and All-State while attending West Bloomfield High School ... As a junior, made the semifinals of the state tournament at No. 1 ... Was named team captain in 1997-2000 ... Played in the National Clay Courts (1997-99) and the National Indoors (1999).
