 Marcus Eyth
Marcus Eyth brings over 20 years of playing and teaching experience to Forest Grove for his first season as a Pacific men’s tennis assistant coach.

Eyth will assist in all aspects of the program, but will specifically focus on skill development and mental development.

A former NCAA Division I player, Eyth played from 1992-96 at the University of Vermont, where he held the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles positions in his final two seasons.  He was an All-American East Conference selection in three of his four years and was named the Catamounts’ most valuable player as a senior.

Field Club, the Spokane (Wash.) Racquet Club and the Quince Orchard Swim & Tennis Club in Gaithersburg, Md.  He earned a P-1 tennis instructor certification from the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) in 1996.

While completing his law studies at Gonzaga, Eyth spent three seasons as a member of the Bulldogs’ men’s and women’s tennis staffs and served as the head men’s tennis coach for the 2000-01 season.

A native of Germany, Eyth earned bachelor’s degrees in psychology and German from Vermont in 1996.  He earned his law degree from the Gonzaga School of Law in 2001 and earned an additional LL.M. degree from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2002 with a focus on international construction law and international arbitration.  Eyth practices law for the firm of Davis Wright Tremaine in Portland.  He also serves as the vice president of the board for the German-American School of Portland.
