Ivor Lovrark joined the Pepperdine tennis team as a junior after transferring from Baylor University in January, 2005 . . . He joins Kevin Borzenski, Scott Doerner and Pedro Rico as the juniors on the squad . . .Chose Pepperdine because it is a good school, has a good tennis team, and is a nice place . . . At 6’5” Lovrack is the tallest Wave on the team . . . He is a native of Croatia and graduated from Sport Gymnasium in Zagreb, Croatia in 2001
At Baylor: Named “Big XII Freshman of the Year” in 2003 . . . Baylor won the NCAA tournament in 2004 . . . Was invited to the tennis Hall of Fame in 2004 . . . Lettered for a scholarship both years at Baylor . . . Played Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6 in singles and 1, 2 and 3 in doubles positions during Baylor’s national championship season
