After going 0-2 in singles at the Midland Invitational, bounced back at the ITA Regionals (West), and won six consecutive matches to claim the singles title...As the eighth seed, defeated three higher seeds in the last three matches, including the No. 1 seed and top-ranked Benjamin Kohlloeffel of UCLA in the quarterfinals...Defeated No. 4-seed Chris Groh of San Diego State in three sets in the semifinal...Beat No. 2 seed Chris Surapol of UCLA in the final match to earn automatic spot in ITA Indoor Championships...Also posted three straight wins with Omar Altmann in doubles before falling in the semifinals at the ITA Regionals...Posted a first round win at the ITA Indoors, but fell in the second round.

Before Pepperdine
Competed at the College of Santa Fe (NAIA) where he was named the ITA Rookie of the Year (NAIA) and earned All-America honors...Helped lead team to NAIA Championships as a freshman (team fell to Azusa Pacific in final match)...In the fall of 2005, partnered with Ricardo Omana to win the NAIA Regional Crown...Also won the Small College Doubles Champion for an automatic spot at the ITA Indoors...Competed in the same doubles bracket as 2006 Pepperdine teammates Pedro Rico and Ivor Lovrak.
