MORAGA, Calif. - The Saint Mary's men's tennis match scheduled for Friday against Sonoma State has been cancelled due to rain in the Bay Area. The two teams will look to reschedule the match for sometime later this spring.

Saint Mary's is 4-8 overall this season after dropping a match to Idaho at home last week. Maxime Olivan and Seif El Sherbini won their matches against Idaho on courts one and five, respectively, which marked each player's third straight win. Sherif Hamdy leads Saint Mary's with a 7-5 record this season playing on courts two and three.

The next match scheduled for SMC is on Tuesday, March 20 against San Francisco. The match between the Gaels and Dons will begin at 3 p.m. from the Timothy Korth Tennis Complex.
