The University of Texas at Tyler men's and women's tennis teams were nothing shot of dominant on Saturday as the two squads combined for five wins at the Summers Tennis Center.

The 21st-ranked men posted two shutouts in two matches. The day started with a 9-0 win over Millsaps in non-conference action, followed by a 9-0 win over Louisiana College in American Southwest Conference play.

The 29th-ranked women picked up three wins and posted two shutouts on the day as well. The Patriots earned an 8-1 win over Millsaps and then opened ASC action with a pair of 9-0 wins over Texas-Dallas and Louisiana College.

The men are now 7-0 overall and 2-0 in the ASC, while the women are 7-1 and 2-0 in the ASC, as well.

The women will return to ASC play on Tuesday when they travel to LeTourneau for a 3 p.m., match. On Saturday, both teams will head to California for five matches each.
