Honolulu, HI (3/10/09) – At Central Oahu Regional Park, the HPU men’s tennis team topped Northwestern College (St. Paul, MN) 9-0.
The Sea Warriors made quick work of their opponent. In one doubles, Hendrik Bode and Sebastian Bader topped the pair of Jeremiah Schneck and Stephen Fread, 8-1. Nicola Petrov and Jan Hroch, and Anton Samuilau and Jonathan Lee, won at love in two and three doubles, respectively.
In singles play, HPU gave up just two games to the Eagles. Outside of Bader’s 6-1, 6-1 win over Fread in one singles, the Sea Warriors won all other singles matches at love.
The men’s next match will be Monday, March 23 versus UH-Hilo. Start time is set for 9:00 a.m. at Central Oahu Regional Park.
